Gears of War: E-Day is a third-person action game that takes players back to the beginning of the Locust invasion. Set before the original Gears of War, the story follows younger versions of Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago as they face the terrifying events of Emergence Day.

Players battle the Locust using the series’ signature cover-based combat, powerful firearms, and brutal close-range attacks. The campaign focuses on the overwhelming arrival of a new enemy and the struggle to survive as cities fall into chaos.
